Clone artifact
Description of how to use the Clone Artifact Job step.
Clone Artifact is a Job step that allows for cloning desired artifacts. Artifacts can be cloned in one of several different ways based on entries in the job step settings:
- A custom step name can be defined; otherwise, the default step name will be used
- If the Clean workspace field is marked, the Agent's working directory will be cleared and all data from it would be deleted.
- There are few ways of cloning artifacts:
- You can define a destination where the artifact should be cloned as a relative directory path within the Agent's working directory. If left blank, the artifact will be cloned within the Agent's working directory.
- You can define more information on how the artifacts should be collected. Additional information about the format for the input value is available in the Collect artifacts documentation.
- Every step has Advanced options through which steps can be managed. When execution of the step fails, execution of the job continues. If option Abort job on step fail is marked, Job execution will stop once this step fails and further steps will not be executed. When it comes to skip condition, it allows skipping the current step if the condition is met.
