API Keys

Description of API Keys, accessible from the Credentials section of Typhoon Test Hub.

API Keys can be used for manual Report upload and for setting Event triggers. Tokens are used to validate communication internally within TTH.

The API Keys table (Figure 1) simply shows the name of the API key.

In the Details section, you can delete an API Key by clicking the button. An API Key can be deleted only if there are no repositories connected with that credential.

From the API Key details menu (Figure 2), you can manage data about your selected key, such as update the name and value.

Create API Key

A new API Key can be added by clicking on the button. This opens the new API Key dialog window (Figure 3).

To make a new API Key, you must:

  1. Assign it a name which will be used to refer to it throughout the Typhoon Test Hub. This name must be unique.
  2. Enter a key value, or generate one with the button.
Note: In order to save a form, all input fields must be valid. Required fields are signed with *.
