PROFINET Protocol Toolbox

Schematic Editor components available through the PROFINET Protocol Toolbox

Real-time only: This document is valid only for real-time/VHIL simulation.

The PROFINET Protocol Toolbox is an additional toolbox that contains components that mimic the communication layers in PROFINET applications. By simulating the communication layer of your high-fidelity model, you can minimize the risk of related issues during the deployment phase.

Please refer to the PROFINET IO Device documentation for a detailed description of the full capabilities of the PROFINET Protocol toolbox.

The IO Device Component is available through the Schematic Editor Library Explorer in Communication/PROFINET/.
