DNP3 Protocol Toolbox

Schematic Editor components available through the DNP3 Protocol Toolbox

Real-time only: This document is valid only for real-time/VHIL simulation.

The DNP3 Protocol Toolbox is an additional toolbox that contains components that mimic the communication layers in DNP3 applications. By simulating the communication layer of your high-fidelity model, you can minimize the risk of related issues during the deployment phase.

Please refer to the DNP3 Outstation documentation for a detailed description of the full capabilities of the DNP3 Protocol toolbox.

The DNP3 Component is available through the Schematic Editor Library Explorer in Communication/DNP3/.
