This video tutorial covers how to use virtual signals, a new feature available starting with the 2022.4 software release of Typhoon HIL Control Center. This feature allows you to generate new Capture signals using your own Python functions. With this feature, new signals can be created by applying functions to the captured signals and used for offline analysis and you can also save real-time resources by using standard Python analytical modules (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, and math).

We hope that this new feature will allow you to carry out even more in your HIL projects than before. We look forward to your feedback and to learning which other features you would like to see implemented next – let us know in the comments below and help bring your most wanted features to users around the globe!
