After 2 years of online editions, the EPE Association has returned to fully in-person events, this time in Hannover, Germany. The event marked a return to the best practices in connecting academic and industrial power electronics community professionals in Europe and around the world.

It proved to be the right move to promote the importance of power electronics in the increasingly changing world of energy systems. Instead of simply oversizing applied solutions as a safety approach, new power electronics devices and capabilities are tackling the complexity caused by increased software and ā€œsmartnessā€ in energy systems. Thanks to events such as these, we are learning how designing and thoroughly testing smart control systems can help us build solutions faster and better.
