Hi Genis,

My guess is that the averaged DAB becomes unstable when interacting with the rest of the circuit. As you know, system is expected to be less stable as the discretization step increases. Is your model unstable if you put fixed voltage sources at the input/output of the DAB?

As I can see, you don't have a TyphoonSim license associated with your account. You are correct, you are logged in, and a license is installed, but if you open the license dialog, you will probably see that the TyphoonSim license is not active. At the moment, you have a license for Virtual HIL active. To obtain a license for TyphoonSim, please fill out this form.

Hello,

It seems your machine is not handling SSL certificates automatically, and probably they are all missing.

You can try to install certificates manually, you can download them here: root, intermediate and subscription. Try to install one by one following order mentioned above and try to log in (restart software first) when you finish installation. If it asks for password to unpack certificate, type 1234.

Hello Antonio,

We recommend using the latest version of THCC, as the older versions did not support the nonlinear mode for PMSM VBR. For example, if you are using THCC 2025.1, then, the non-linear mode is not supported, which is indicated in the component dialog window (see below attached image).

What type of look-up table you are trying to run. Is it 2D flux/inductance tables or is it 3D spatial tables?

Also, are you using torque tables, or just fluxes?

An example data set for these tables are provided in the component help page here:

Let us know if that helps. I can also take a look at your tables if want to see if they are in the correct format (rows and columns matching their corresponding axis and their signs)

Hello Pierre,

You can achieve this by configuring Output Settings component from System category. There you can assign PWM Modulator signals to digital outputs that will be looped back virtually to digital inputs in TyphoonSim.

I would advise you to go through Typhoon example model called "How to use Dynamic table component". You can navigate to it through the Example Explorer, or directly from the THCC installation folder: "..\examples\models\how-to examples\dynamic table".

I believe your question is similar to this one - TyphoonSim and Typhoon Test IDE.

In short - the API that can be used within TyphoonSim has not been officially released yet.
If you are interested in using functions that are developed so far (including one for capturing probe values), please let us know in the comments, and we will share them with you.

Answered: TyphoonSim.exe has stopped working

Hi Zhi,

As you can see in the console there is message that says "Simulation completed successfully". This message is sent just before simulation process end (TyphoonSim.exe). Hence, simulation actually completed. After this message, simulation process cleans up some memory locations that were used for the simulation. I just noticed that we have small issue in this piece of code.

Somehow, we didn't notice this issue in any PC (our dev PCs + customer PCs) because in our cases it seems that windows just successfully completed process and that is it. But in your case, Windows raises flag for this and hence you get that window.

We already fixed issue and it will be in the next software release. Anyways, you can ignore it - you can just click on "Close the program" and continue working. As I said, simulation itself is not affected. I know it will be a bit annoying to close this window after every simulation. Sorry for that inconvenience. I will also search over the internet to try to understand why your PC is reporting this while on our side it is not the case. If I find something that can help you overcome this issue, I will let you know.

Also, as soon as new release is out, please download it to avoid this annoying issue.
